Auf dem Rückweg mache ich Frieden mit dem Stress der letzten beiden Wochen. Ich finde mich mit diesem Winter ab, der eben wieder das beste aus dem machen wird, was eben möglich ist. Und ich beginne konkrete Pläne zu machen wie das aussehen soll. Ich verließ Trier am Freitag und wie immer tat mir ein Ortswechsel gut, um die Dinge auf Distanz zu bekommen. Der ganze Irrsinn der Planlosigkeit der Politik und die Gleichgültigkeit gegenüber den Toten. Ich schlief die erste Nacht 8 Stunden und am nächsten Nachmittag noch mal 3, so sehr hatte mich das alles aufgeregt
Mit E. und R. einen Weihnachtsmarkbesuch geplant, aber die Schlangen davor sind so lang, dass wir uns für ein Essen in einer Außengastronomie entscheiden. R. ist Wintermuffel und quengelt, dass ihm das zu kalt wäre, aber wir finden dann etwas mit Heizpilz. Die beiden haben im letzten Jahr genug Federn gelassen und versuchen, die ganze Situation nicht so an sich rankommen zu lassen. Selbstschutz hat Priorität, sagt E. Wir laufen nach dem Essen durch das Gereons-Viertel und sie zeigen mir das Gehrling-Quartier, auf dem die ehemaligen Versicherungsgebäude nun Wohungen sind. Sie scheinen mir als Wohnungen wenig schön, aber ich nehme mir vor, das ganze noch einmal bei Tageslicht zu beschauen, wenn es sich ergibt.
Am nächsten Tag werde ich gut von D. bekocht, wofür ich sehr dankbar bin: Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten. Während ich mit Rezepten zumindest immer eine grobe Richtschnur brauche, kocht D. nach Schnauze und das nicht einmal schlecht, weshalb ich heimlich neidisch bin. Ich merke den Wein sehr schnell, halte mich aber bei den Gesprächen tapfer. D. lebt ganz durch den Kopf, jedenfalls kommt es mir so vor. Das muss also so die Art sein, wie Intellektuelle Gespräche durch die Nacht führen, denke ich. Der Wein hilft jedenfalls dabei, mir um meine eigene Intellektualität nicht allzu viel Gedanken zu machen. Wir reden lange über das Schreiben, das Lesen und die unmittelbare Erfahrung. Beim Abschied sage ich, komme doch mal nach Trier, aber er wirkt nicht sehr enthusiastisch. Ob wegen mir oder Trier, kann ich nicht sagen. Mein Optimismus nimmt ihn aber in die Liste für Korrespondenzen auf.

Das Jahr beginnt sich zu neigen und ich beginne mit End-Jahres-Aktivitäten. Überlegt, den Stahl-Weihnachtsbaum bald aus dem Keller zu holen, der 1. Advent ist schon am 19. November (Edit: Stimmt gar nicht, da beginnt der Trierer Weihnachtsmarkt, das habe ich vertüddelt). Durch meinen Stapel an Notizbüchern gegangen und überlegt, welches das Tagebuch 2022 werden soll. Lasse es Twitter entscheiden, letztes Jahr war es Facebook. Überlege, ob ich mir das Passionsblumen-Parfum selbst zu Weihnachten schenken soll und was ich mir sonst noch schenken wollen würde. Ein Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Mutter gemacht, ein bemalter Kaffeebecher, den sie sich gewünscht hat. 2021 kommt mir im Rückblick so ereignislose vor, obwohl das nicht stimmt, ich bin einige neue Dinge angegangen. Ich frage mich immer noch, ob die Pandemie einen Schaden im Selbstwirksamkeitserleben hinterlässt, jedenfalls kommt es mir so vor.
Gestern A.’s Geburtstag gefeiert, sie macht Dumplings, die M. nicht essen will, aber die wir beide lieben. Er ist auf irgendeinem Fußballspiel im Saarland und so können wir trinken und kitschige, englische Fernsehserien sehen. Ich bin auch dankbar für die Tipps, denn Winterzeit ist Serienzeit. Im Sommer schaue ich so gut wie nichts und einen Fernseher habe ich seir 20 Jahren nicht mehr. Aber im Winter grabe ich mich gern ein und schaue abends ein paar Folgen. Ich bringe A. rote Nelken und ein Kochbuch, weil sie sich eines gewünscht hat, und offensichtlich treffe ich die richtige Wahl. Bücher sind immer schwer als Geschenk. A. ist jemand, dem ich durch die Pandemie näher gekommen bin. Du bist eine der wenigen guten Sachen dieser Pandemie, sage ich ihr. Auf dem Rückweg besoffen einen Schlüssel verloren, den ich aber zum Glück auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Haus wieder finde. Die dazugehörige Vespa hatte schon am Vormittag den Geist aufgegeben, irgendwie nicht mein Tag.
Heute Morgen Telefonat mit S., die mich beim Erste-Hilfe-Ausbilder-Kurs anmelden wird. Ein Freizeitpark möchte darüber hinaus einen Kurs für seine Angestellten mit speziellen Tier-Risiken, aber vermutlich nicht vor Frühjahr. Das Ehrenamt verbandelt mich mit Trier, das sich immer noch (10 Jahre!) oft wie ein Hotelzimmer anfühlt. Die DLRG gehört zu den besseren Erfahrungen, die ich gemacht habe.
Ich habe die Narrenschelle angelegt: Mir zur Erinnerung und den anderen zur Warnung. Ich gehe allen auf die Nerven. Und mir auch. Die Kekse gingen nach Rom, das war der bessere Teil der Woche. Consegnata.
Streit mit A. darüber, dass sie für die Verbesserungen ihrer Situation auch eintreten muss. Sie will nicht. Schmollt und trotzt und wird emotional. Weil sie nur einen befristeten Vertrag hat, sagt sie. Aber das stimmt so nicht oder nicht nur. Sie scheut Konfrontationen. Ich habe lange befristet gearbeitet und trotzdem den Mund aufgemacht. Soweit es eben möglich war. Meine Wut macht hässliche Gedanken: Sie, die alles bis zur Promotíon von Papi und Mami nachgetragen bekommen hat und jetzt in Konsequenz in kompletter Unselbstständigkeit lebt. Vergegenwärtige mir, was ich an ihr habe. Viele strukturelle Unsicherheiten zur Zeit (wechselnder Chef, ggf. scheidende Kollegin). Immer noch die vorhandenen Pandemie + unschönen Auseinandersetzungen. Über allem liegt eine Spannung, die sich jeden Moment entladen kann und das auch immer häufiger tut.
Verbiete mir jetzt auch das Träumen. So geht man Enttäuschungen aus dem Weg, bilde ich mir ein. Hinzu der Trotz, dass sich doch real etwas verbessern müsse. Nur manchmal macht mir im Gedanken morgens heimlich einer Frühstück .
Diese Woche auch: Das erste Mal Kino nach 2 Jahren. Man wird mit Codes durchgeschleust, wie man jetzt überall durchgeschleust wird. Niemand trinkt im Foyer Wein. Ich lasse die FFP-2-Maske auf, auch wenn das nicht gefordert ist. Ein wenig schummele ich, indem ich Limo und Chips kaufe und unter die Maske schiebe. Aber Kino mit gar nichts kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. Ich hoffte, Bond würde mich mit der alten Zeit verbinden, aber auch hier nur Differenz.
